Ora Beach is a quiet and tranquil beach where you are not going to find a lot of power water activities. What you will find is a pristine beach that opens up onto the beautiful waters that Indonesia is famous for. Many people enjoy snorkeling, swimming, sailing, sail boarding or simply floating on a raft. You can rent beach chairs and tents and some of the local resorts will also provide you with drink or food service but this isn’t a “tourist beach.” The area has worked hard to try and preserve as much local flair and natural beauty as possible. There aren’t many children at play here, this is a beach that has become a place where adults rest and recuperate. The natural surroundings invite relaxation and contemplation; Ora Beach is truly a good choice to restore your soul.You can reach Ora Beach by flying into the Ambon airport and then coming over to the Seram island. Last month, I went from Jakarta to Maluku by using Garuda Indonesia airlines. Got the ticket from Traveloka.com and in my opinion Garuda Indonesia has an excellent service. It took 3,5 hours until I arrived in Pattimura Airport. Then, I continued my journey to the Seram island. Seram is the largest of all the islands in the Maluku area and what is most surprising about Ora Beach is that for being located in the largest and most populous area – it has retained its natural beauty. That isn’t a fluke, not only is Ora Beach important to the locals but its main draw is to the Eco Tourist.
Here, you can find everything you need to enjoy a vacation, but you won’t lose your ability to explore the natural wonders of the Indonesia isles in exchange. There are more contemporary resort style places to stay nearby, but Ora Beach is also lined with small, private wooden cabins that let the cool ocean breeze in to relive the humidity and feature simplicity as their main amenity. The best way to reach Ora Beach in maluku is to hire a private car from the airport at Ambon Pattimura. You can also choose to rent your own and drive if you are feeling adventurous, but make sure to call ahead to your concierge to let them know you will need parking reserved for your car. Ora Beach is located right near Telahu Port, which is about a ½ hour from Pattimura. There are also public transportation options but those are usually not well suited to tourists. Before you leave Ambon Pattimura Airport it is a good idea to take care of all of your currency and exchange needs. While you can do that in Telahu, there aren’t any banking machines around.
There are many different places you can stay that are next to or right on Ora Beach that will range from more traditional hotel or resort accommodations to private cabin huts. You should always call and talk to the concierge about what is available where you are staying in regards to phone and Internet service, as well as food service. In Telahu you can find numerous cafes and small restaurants where you can enjoy Indonesian foods, as well as foods from international menus.

Ora beach perfect for eco-tourism and honeymoon. The beauty is not finished until there, at the bottom of the sea is clear hundreds of coral reefs is truly amazing. Not to mention the small fish dancing around coral reefs. No need to dive, from the terrace only room inn you can enjoy the spectacular view.
Satisfied with the beauty of the beach, around the resort there are the hills that you can explore. The chirping of birds and the cool air is guaranteed to make you reluctant to go from there.
Ora beach resort, there are wood which is the only lodging on the beach Ora. Interestingly, at the beach resort is not located on land, but directly over the sea. So, when you open the room door in the morning, the sea water as if to invite you to play along.
Trip
The first step is to find a flight to Ambon Pattimura Airport with flights available from Jakarta, Surabaya, Makassar and other cities throughout Indonesia.
Arriving at the airport, you can rent a car to continue the journey to Port Tulehu. The journey will take about 30 minutes.
From Port Tulehu, followed by ship Ferry to Masohi, Ceram. The journey takes between 1.5 to 2 hours drive. After that, two hours by car down a steep and winding forest to reach the small fishing village named Saleman. And from this village, you will catch a boat to Ora Beach Resort which only takes about 10 minutes.
Lodging
Ora Beach Resort is a family-owned resort in a secluded part of the island of Seram, and only accessible by water. Resort is located between the Gulf of Sawai, steep cliffs, forests and villages peak Salesman. Resort consists of 5 bungalows, 6 standard rooms and restaurant.
If you pay a visit to the heaven, be sure to bring enough money from Ambon, because there is no ATM or bank on the island.

Where to stay when you do Ora Beach trip?
When you’re about to opt for an accommodation for your Ora Beach trip, most likely, you will be offered these three options of accommodation. I was confused with them at first, cus they all look the same to me. Hihi. With my (obviously) blunt consideration, I ‘helped’ The Frogs to decide that we’re goin to stay in Roneela Cottage. Simple reason: that’s the only accommodation equipped with air conditioning. Nuff said. *flipping hair To avoid any confusion, here I help you guys to decide where to stay when you do Ora Beach trip based on each accommodation’s characteristic below. When you stay in this accommodation, you can use most of its great facilities at all times. From chilling out at the pier to snorkeling to canoe-ing and even feeding fish from your own balcony (a friend said the fish is big and awesome there). Take endless amount of pictures cus it’s indeed a picturesque place.
For you who like live music, though, Ora Beach Resort is not the place for you. It is lack of entertainment system. No karaoke although karaoke is local’s most enjoyed leisure activity. And for you who is a princess like me, air conditioning is not available in Ora Beach Resort. This is the star of the trip, also the first stop right from Saleman Village. When you see a picture with 8 villas on clear blue water and cliffs soaring at the back of it (like the pic above), most likely, it’s Ora Beach Resort. Goodness about Ora Beach lies on its location and its soft corals beneath their own beach. There is also a designated dining villa and a pier as well as canoe to be used freely around the area.
